1. General Policy
Every item on HaldimehendiShaadi.com goes through quality checks before shipping.
However, if you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will be happy to replace or refund it.
As most items are made-to-order or used in rituals, we cannot accept returns for reasons such as:
• Change of mind or personal dislike
• Slight variations in color, texture, or design (due to handmade nature or lighting differences)
• Delay in delivery caused by courier logistics or weather conditions

2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
1. You must raise a request within 48 hours of delivery.
2. The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
3. You must share a clear unboxing video or photo proof showing the issue (damage, missing item, or wrong product).
4. Items such as cosmetics, ritual powders, edible items, or intimate accessories are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

3. How to Raise a Return/Exchange Request

• Your Order ID
• A brief description of the issue

4. Refund Process
Once the return is approved and the product received by us:
• Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method (UPI, card, or wallet).
• In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the refund will be issued via bank transfer or store credit coupon.
• Shipping charges and COD fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

5. Exchange Policy
We currently allow exchange only for the same product type or value, subject to stock availability.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, you may opt for:
• A refund, or
• A store credit valid for your next purchase.

6. Non-Returnable Items
To maintain hygiene and ritual sanctity, the following items cannot be returned:
• Pooja items (kumkum, haldi, rice, ghee, etc.)
• Opened or used décor supplies
• Custom-made or personalized products (with names, dates, or designs)
• Gift hampers, sale items, and combo packs

7. Damaged or Missing Items During Delivery
If your package arrives visibly damaged:
• Do not accept the parcel or immediately inform our team within 24 hours of receipt.
• Provide unboxing proof to help us coordinate with the courier for a resolution.
We will ensure a replacement or refund after verification.

8. Cancellations
• Orders can be canceled within 6 hours of placing the order, if not already shipped.
• Once shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
• For prepaid orders, the refund will be processed after deducting any payment gateway fees.

Store credits are valid for 90 days from the date of issue and can be used on any product available on our website.
