This decorated belan is a rolling-pin showpiece studded with stones for the rukhwat display. It is a bejewelled decorative item rather than a kitchen tool, meant to be shown among the bride's rukhwat pieces at Gujarati and Marathi weddings. It can also be kept as a decorative gift item after the ceremony.
